Public Works - Garbage Pick Up
GARBAGE PICK UP
Please remember that all garbage and recycling should be at the street no
later than 7:00 a.m. on Wednesdays in order to be picked up. It doesn't
matter if they "usually" pick up at a later time since schedules are subject to
change without notice. If you have problems with your garbage service,

Hall at 770.476.3434.
Contractors in Duluth are required to use United Waste for their construction debris. Burial pits and open burning are not permitting. You must obtain an Open Burning Permit through the Gwinnett County Fire Marshal's office, you may call their office at 770-822-7690 for the requirements (pit, burner, etc.). Roll-off dumpsters are required to be United Dumpsters. No exceptions. Violators will be cited.
