Help us plan for the Duluth of Tomorrow!
The City of Duluth has begun the process of creating a vision for its future called the Comprehensive Plan. This plan is a collective effort between elected officials, the City’s Planning Department and its residents in charting the course for the Duluth of tomorrow...Duluth 2030.
The Comprehensive Plan is an important document for our community. Not only does it allow us to receive important state and federal dollars for community improvements, it also attempts to answer questions like:
- What does the city look like today?
- What do we want it to look like tomorrow?
- How do we get there?
We’ve already answered the first
question. We need the community to
help us with the other two.
*The City of Duluth Planning & Development
Department will hold a community presentation outlining the findings and final
draft of the Duluth 2030 Comprehensive Plan on
Monday, May 19 2008 at 5:00 p.m.. The meeting will
be held in the community room in the basement of City Hall, which is located at
3167 Main St.
If you would like to participate with our Comprehensive Plan update, or if you
